Antiformin S

Antifomin S is a sequestered blend of sodium hypochlorite and caustic is ideal because of its low cost and its highly effective detergent due to its presence of chlorine, however, temperatures of this product should not exceed 50°C. The caustic formulation deals with hard dried yeast and hop residues and the chlorinated formulation breaks down and removes protein staining, making it ideal for vessel washing, CIP, cask washing and general cleaning. Antiformin S is very effective in cleaning up soiled casks which may have been left in trade/yards for a long time, or in hot weather.  A longer soak in Antiformin S will remove any stubborn staining and fly eggs which are sometimes seen. Antiformin S is suitable for use in low to medium water hardness areas and can be used on stainless steel, copper and plastics. Benefits -Caustic formulation deals with hard dried yeast and hop residues -Chlorinated formulation -Ideal for vessel washing, CIP, cask washing, general cleaning This product is not recommended for use in the brewhouse due to higher temperatures, as it must be under 50C to prevent corrosion from Chlorine.  For Brown/Protein staining in the brewhouse a Hot (75C) Formulated Caustic is required with a Caustic Booster added (Adhol No 10).
