The FreeKeg Bag insert is made from 9-layer laminated film creating a multi-layer barrier. The valve and spear sleeve is POM (food-grade approved).
The insert contains stainless steel springs (food contact) and nickel-plated steel springs (non-food contact). The seal is TPE (food-grade approved) and keg is made from HDPE, fiberglass and epoxy.
The FreeKeg bag insert is documented to have a durability of up to 12 months, with <0.3ppm 02 transmissions per year and <5% Co2 loss per year. Operating temperatures are between 9 - 35 degrees C.
The FreeKeg Bag inserts are designed with a built-in overpressure value that activates at pressures exceeding 8 bar. Please read the technical guide for more details.
